Do I qualify?

Odds are, you already qualify

Florida names ten conditions outright, then adds a clause that opens the door much wider. Here's the full picture, grouped so you can find yourself fast.

The rule most people miss

"Comparable condition" does the heavy lifting

Florida doesn't stop at its ten named conditions. The statute also covers anything a licensed physician judges to be of the same kind, class, or severity as one on the list. That single clause is how most patients qualify — and it's why a list you found online may have told you no when a physician would say yes.

Not sure where you land? Tell us your condition in one sentence and we'll answer honestly, free, before you book anything.

More than a signature

What you actually get

Three things every patient gets, whether it's your first evaluation or your fourth renewal.

A real physician, not a form

You sit with a Florida-licensed doctor who reads your history and answers your questions. No chatbot, no rubber stamp.

The paperwork, off your plate

We enter your certification and walk you through the state application line by line. Most people get stuck there alone. You won't.

Someone to call after

Questions about your renewal date or your registry status? Call the same number. The visit isn't where we stop.

Finding out is free

Know where you stand before you book

Nobody should pay to be told no. We check first, at no cost, and you only move forward once you know the answer.

Free eligibility check

Two minutes on the phone or one short form. We tell you honestly whether you're likely to qualify.

No approval, no charge

If the physician doesn't approve you at your visit, the appointment costs you nothing. That's the whole promise.

No pressure, no upsell

Ask what the visit involves and we'll walk you through it plainly. Book when you're ready, not before.

Where we serve

Pick the spot nearest you

Your first evaluation is in person. Choose an area and we'll send the exact address and time when you book.

Straight answers

The questions we get most

If yours isn't here, call or send it through the form below.

Do I have to come in person?
For your first certification, yes — that's Florida law, not our rule. After that, renewals can be handled online from home.
How fast will I get my card?
The physician certifies you the same day you qualify. After you finish the short state application, the physical card usually arrives within about two weeks.
What if I don't qualify?
Then you don't pay. We check first, for free, so you're never booking a visit on a maybe.
What does it cost?
We quote the evaluation fee before you book, so there's no surprise. Florida charges its own registry fee separately, which you pay directly to the state. Ask and we'll walk through both in plain numbers.
What should I bring?
A Florida ID or proof you live here, plus any records about your condition. Records help but aren't always required — we'll tell you exactly what you need when you call.
Who can qualify in Florida?
Florida residents, full-time or seasonal, 18 and up, with a qualifying condition or one a physician considers comparable. Patients under 18 can qualify with additional sign-off and a caregiver.
Will you text me?
Only if you ask us to. Text messages are optional, never required to book, and you can stop them any time by replying STOP. Full details are in the messaging program section below.

Policies

Fast Medical Card connects patients with independent, Florida-licensed physicians for in-person medical evaluations and state registry certification. This website provides general information and evaluation services, not medical advice, and we do not sell, dispense, or deliver any product. Eligibility is determined solely by a licensed physician, and approval is not guaranteed. Conditions described as comparable are not named in Florida statute and qualify only where a licensed physician determines they are of the same kind, class, or severity as a listed condition. Florida sets and collects its own state registry fee, which you pay directly to the state. Evaluation fees are quoted directly and are subject to change.
